Temps plein<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ville : Montr\u00e9al<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>SUMMARY<strong> :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reporting to the Manager, Health and Safety, the Advisor will be responsible for the administrative follow-up of workers&#8217; compensation and occupational disease claims for all employees in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Health and Safety Advisor will play a key role in governance, compliance, accident prevention and implementation of best practices in health, safety and well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Claims management, compensation and welfare<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Act as communication contact for claims management in collaboration with service provider.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with People &amp; Culture business partners and managers to ensure a safe and timely return to work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with incident reporting and return to work policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review commission transactions and statements, ensure payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Initiate projects to develop wellness programs in collaboration with global compensation teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Management system, reporting and communications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Develop, maintain and communicate policies and programs<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participate in the development of specific content related to prevention programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop tools, organize training, communications, campaigns and awareness initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respond to customer requests, provide required documentation on procedures, policies, proof of compliance and insurance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for health and safety indicator reports including collection, analysis and recommendations for action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain records of training, audits and performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Operations<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work with the Health, Safety and Wellness team to identify the needs of the OHS prevention plan and program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the Senior Health and Safety Advisor &#8211; Field Operations and assume his\/her replacement in case of absence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify training requirements for professional profiles and select suppliers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in the induction review for new employees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain PPE catalog and participate in improving employee work experience: select and test PPE and tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assume all tasks and responsibilities inherent to the position or that may be assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>QUALIFICATIONS :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University degree with specialization in an appropriate discipline (Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Relations) or any other combination of relevant training and experience;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 7 years&#8217; experience in accident prevention and claims management at national level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in an OHS consulting role<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of Quebec and Canadian OHS legislation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of the CNESST retrospective plan&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working in a retail or manufacturing sector (an asset)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bilingualism (French\/English)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent computer skills (MS Office): Word, Excel, PowerPoint<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Autonomous, proactive;
