In addition, the supervisor will be called upon to collaborate on various continuous improvement projects.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Production supervision<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supervise and optimize all aspects of projects: resources, finance, schedules, quality, productivity, safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage work tools: use, control, calibration and purchasing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain key performance indicators in line with company standards standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consistently enforce factory regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactively escalate any barriers that may compromise ongoing projects via the processes in place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Produce all reports required for proper project and plant administration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Team Development<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Promote a high-performance culture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain an up-to-date skills matrix for the business sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish a development plan for employees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage employee performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate regularly with the team and hold documented individual meetings with direct reports on a regular basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effectively and proactively manage the entire employee life cycle (hiring and termination, payroll, vacation and absence).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be a health and safety promoter: daily management, health and safety committee, monthly inspections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Continuous Improvement<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Work with support functions on various projects aimed at optimizing our manufacturing capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>QUALIFICATIONS :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Relevant experience in quality and performance management in an industrial assembly environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A minimum of 4 years&#8217; experience in team management in a unionized environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognized and consistent leadership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team builder with the ability to develop and maintain a high performance culture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent knowledge of occupational health and safety concepts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continuously seeks to learn more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motivated to evolve in a constantly changing environment and demonstrate excellent change management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bilingual (intermediate level of French and knowledge of English for communication with our provincial and international teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SUMMARY: Reporting to the Production Manager, the supervisor will have full responsibility for managing a production area within the plant, as well as the team within that area.
