SUMMARY :

As an Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for several customer projects, your ideas will be listened to and taken into consideration, and you'll be considered a key player. That's the advantage of working for an small to medium-sized business!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with project managers and the multidisciplinary technical team (mechanical, IT, electrical, etc.).
• Design automation projects from A to Z, including programming PLCs and PCs, as well as monitoring the design of electrical panels.
• Participate in the brainstorming of automation projects.
• With the help of the mechanical engineer, participate in the development and design of mechanical components.
• Commission systems and act as a resource person when required.
• Provide technical support following system start-up.
• Support engineering with program corrections and/or modifications.
• Where necessary, participate in the preparation of tenders.
• Any other related tasks that may help to advance the projects entrusted to you.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor's degree in Automated Production Engineering; Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering; Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering OR Technical degree in a relevant field
• Bachelor's: 2 to 10 years' experience (if little experience, must be highly motivated and passionate)
• Technical: 2 to 15 years' experience (if little experience, must be very enthusiastic)
• Good knowledge of PLC/HMI systems
• Good electrical knowledge (control and power)
