SUMMARY :

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Project Manager mandate will be to ensure the smooth running of production in terms of equipment reliability, capacity and repeatability, by mobilizing employees and managers towards a culture of continuous improvement and the achievement of plant objectives. In addition, he will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing various capital projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage capital projects (tender development, design, budget control, supplier selection and meeting coordination).
  • Ensure that all projects are carried out in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and manage the budget and keep the tracking file up to date.
  • Manage the production launch of implemented equipment or services.
  • Contribute to the planning of continuous improvement activities.
  • Suggest and implement new technologies.
  • Provide technical support to the entire plant.
  • Act as a change agent.


QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or other relevant training
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position
  • Experience in the food industry (an asset)
